Jordan Gersh brings over a decade of deep expertise combining corporate finance, strategic M&A advisory, and private equity execution to his role as CFO and Director of M&A at sbLiftOff. Mr. Gersh guides mid-market, founder-led and GovCon firms through the deal cycle—from rigorous due diligence and valuation analysis to negotiation and closing. A self-proclaimed “Excel geek,” Gersh says, “I have to enjoy the work and enjoy the people, and I get enormous personal gratification from helping business owners lift off with my team at sbLiftOff.”
Prior to sbLiftOff, Mr. Gersh worked at FIS Global (NYSE: FIS), climbing the corporate ladder of this global FinTech behemoth, which boasts more than $10 billion in annual revenues. Mr. Gersh ended his career at FIS Global as Senior Director of Investment Capital, with over $10 billion in aggregate M&A transaction value booked, leading a team responsible for $1 billion in annual capital management. “Professionally, I was eager to tackle a new challenge outside of the publicly-traded space. At sbLiftOff, I can leverage my background in large, public-company M&A to deliver Wall Street-caliber counsel and execution directly to small business owners, who are navigating the most important – and often only – transaction of their lives.”
Mr. Gersh holds an MBA from Duke University (Fuqua School of Business), where he received the prestigious Fuqua Scholar honor, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Florida.
